Syllora is a study-planning and focus-tracking app. This policy explains what information Syllora handles, why it is used, when it may be visible to other users, and how it can be deleted.
Tasks, grades, profile name and school year are not intended to be public. If the public leaderboard is enabled, a username and recorded study time may be visible to other users. Study-group members can see the information required to operate that group.
Syllora uses Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to provide account, syncing and community features. Firebase processes information on Syllora's behalf to provide these services. Syllora does not sell personal information and the current app is not designed to track users across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.
Information is kept while needed to provide an account and app features. A user can permanently delete an account inside Syllora by opening Profile → Account → Permanently delete account. When deletion completes, Syllora removes the Firebase login and associated active Firestore data, including private synced study data, public profile, username claim and study-group membership. Data stored for that account on the device is cleared as part of the signed-out account reset. Service-provider backups may expire according to the provider's normal backup-retention process.
Syllora uses platform security features and Firebase security controls. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users should use a unique password and keep their device protected.
Syllora is designed for students but is not intended for children under 13. A parent or guardian should review account use where required by local law.
This policy may be updated when Syllora's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
